It’s great to see you here, Andrew, I’ve bought all your products and watched all your tutorials (you’ve got a great sense of humor), and will be buying this new one as well.įrom a buyers’ standpoint, actually I’m glad there’s no prerenders allowed since I hate those anyways it’s better to support original content authors and support creativity. It is through andrew kramer that i have come to be an after effects guru and earn my daily bread from it today. Lets buy this totally awesome plugin and help in making those who benefit also pay for its awesomeness. We must be willing to help those who help make our lives better. or if it must, they would have been better off not creating the plug-in at all, as its cost would out-stripe its benefits. The point i am trying to make is that legally, this wouldn’t hold. And yes people have mentioned the impossibility for anybody to tell a pre-render by element 3D from other renders by conventional 3d packages. It is undeniable that it will cost video copilot more to enforce the clause that restricts pre-rendered items than it will cost them if they left it open.

It is rather unfortunate that in this age of freedom of information, it has become almost impossible to sell anything digital, without that inhibitive cost of exclusion. You can tell the anguish in their plea, from the frantic, illogical approach to legally excluding non buyers from benefiting from the plugin.

All they are asking for is our help to make people who benefit from their hard work to pay a relatively miserly compensation. Kramer and team took this decision because they love to lose sales. How long have we not waited for the multi billion company, Adobe, to give us a descent 3d platform in after effects. If we fail to do this, very few people will be interested in research and inventions. Lets support those who go out of their way to make our lives a little easier. Gone are the days where the government everything ground breaking.
